LOW PRICE Elkhart by Buescher Vintage Alto Sax - Serial # 67082
This is a recently restored Elkhart by Buescher 20A model alto sax, serial number 67082. This is a quality student level sax in a newer pad job, but does need some minor regulation work to be in optimal playing shape.
This alto was relacquered awhile ago and completely restored with all new pads and material. The relacquering was done very well with minimal buffing; as seen in the photos the engraving remains crisp and clean. Physically the sax shows no signs of past dent work or repair and is straight from top to bottom. The pads are matched with brown plastic resonators are in like-new condition, but playing down the sax there are some leaks here and there that need to be addressed. The action feels good, so it is probably just a matter of floating some pads or maybe changing a couple for better seats. We are selling the sax as-is.
If you have a bench at home and want to tinker, you should be able to get this sax in good playing shape in no time. Ships in a good hard case.
