This is a nice later vintage Buescher True Tone alto saxophone in original silver plate finish, serial number 215470. These are very colorful horns and are a great choice if you are looking for a nice vintage player on a budget. This is one of the later examples, it does feature the improved table key system as well as a front F key.

The original silver finish around the body is in great shape and is quite stunning. Physically the sax is in impressive condition with no history of major repair. All of the original guards and key work are with the sax and are also in good condition. There is no history of solder repair on the sax. The original neck strap ring is present and shows some wear from past use. This saxophone is with the original Buescher neck. The neck is stamped with a 1.

This particular True Tone came in playing nicely on an older set up from another shop. It currently has a mix match of leather pads, nylon resonators and very open key heights. The pads look pretty clean but are on the older side. A re-pad could be in the near future for this horn depending on how much play time you are planning on putting on it. Right now the sax is playing with super fast response and a bright free blowing character.
