This is a freshly restored Selmer Signet 100 series clarinet in Bb, serial number 213283. This is an all wood clarinet, made at a time when student level instruments were made with better material than they are today. This is a great clarinet, and if you are an adult looking to start on clarinet, or need a dependable backup, this is a solid option and better than the plastic or resin models currently in production.

This instrument was just fully overhauled and comes in all new pads and material. It has been precisely adjusted and feels great under your fingers. The wood body shows no previous cracks or crack repairs (pins) and is in fantastic shape. The instrument comes with its original bell with a replacement barrel (also wood) and in its original case.

This clarinet plays with a warm focused sound, with just a bit of positive resistance to give you something to push against. It takes your air well and produces a clear, concise sound.
