This is an “early Babbitt” hard rubber Otto Link Tone Edge mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This is a true EB, featuring the same 90 degree slope on the beak as a Florida Slant, and was made on those Florida molds after Link moved to Elkhart. It has that big round chamber you'd find on a Slant, but with a bit more baffle just behind the tip. The piece is in tremendous shape; you'd never guess its age by looking at it. Originally a 6, the mouthpiece was refaced by Adam Niewood and measures in the 6*-7 range now at .097”.
