Here we have a like-new modern production Selmer Paris Soloist C** hard rubber mouthpiece for alto saxophone. This mouthpiece has never been owned, and is in pristine condition, it's playing great and will ship with no ligature or mouthpiece cap.

The Selmer Soloist series is actually a reissue of the original soloist series in the 1950s and 60s. These pieces differ from the S80, S90, and concept by mainly the chamber being 'Horseshoe shaped' like the old soloist, the side walls are still angled in and flat, the baffle slopes downward with a very slight roll tip to it. The facing marking C** indicates it is slightly more open than a C* but less open than a D.

Physically this mouthpiece is flawless besides its missing engraving paint. The beak has no teeth marks, the rails are in original condition, the body has no scrapes anywhere, and the scroll shank has no wear.
