Meyer Connoisseur
This is a used Meyer Connoisseur 7 for alto saxophone. These pieces are made by Meyer as a throw back to their famous vintage “New York Bros” model. They show off he gold lettering as well as a nice gold band around the shank. A nice and easy to play mouthpiece great for straight ahead jazz alto.
This particular piece has been used in the past. The outer body of the piece and beak are in excellent condition. Its facing profile is in nice condition along the table and side rails. There is a couple of small wear spots on the outside of the tip rail. ( see photos)
The piece has been play tested in our shop and is an excellent example of a modern Meyer. It measures 082” at its tip opening.
