Used Selmer Paris S80 C* for Tenor Saxophone
Pick one up and get started RIGHT
This is a used, hard rubber Selmer Paris S80 in a C* tip opening for tenor saxophone, measuring at about 0.066-inches/1.67mm. This is a current production piece that plays well but has a fair amount of oxidation to its exterior. This is a bargain for a student looking for a better concert band tone.
Internally they feature flat angled sidewalls, a long, deep, sloping baffle that leads to a squared chamber. This mouthpiece plays dark and focused with a slight bit of sweetness or brilliance that helps project your sound.
The table, side-rails, and rail-tip are all in great condition with no injuries, so-to-speak, showing. The mouthpiece plays great as well. The whole piece is showing a lot of oxidation, and the logo paint has fallen off, the logo is worn, the beak has some teeth marks.
These are classic mouthpieces to pick up for a number of situations students experience every year! Concert band rehearsals and performances, All-state competitions, Solo and Ensemble as well, college auditions (some places still make you play classical!), and college students need these for sax quartet or musicals when tenor is not their main saxophone. It's proven useful for at least 41 years and will continue on!
We will ship this mouthpiece with no ligature nor mouthpiece cap.
