Selmer Paris Balanced Action

This is a vintage Selmer Paris Balanced Action neck for alto saxophone in original silver plate finish. The neck is in great physical condition and has never been pulled down. Octave key, guide and saddle are also in great shape with no history of repair. The neck does show normal silver tarnish at this time.

These necks do have the tendency to play with a more open response in comparison to Mark VI necks and more modern examples. This one is in very good condition. It is most ideal for someone looking for a replacement for their Balanced Action or Super Balanced Action alto. Can also be used on other horns.

The tenon on this neck measures approximately .965”. As with any neck, it might be necessary to have the fit of this neck adjusted at your local shop for a perfect fit to your instrument.
