Vintage King Strasser SML Bb Clarinet in All New Pads - Serial # 31300

This is a very nice, recently overhauled King Strasser Bb clarinet, serial number 31300. This horns were made for King by SML (Strasser Marigaux & Lemaire) in France, and while marketed as an entry level instrument, they are fine players and a cut above your typical student model clarinet.

This clarinet comes in all new pads and material, having just been overhauled in our repair shop. It is in perfect regulation and is sealing up wonderfully. There looks to have been one past repair in the original barrel (looks great now) and no cracks or previous crack repairs that I can spot in either joint. The instrument comes in its original case as pictured.

I found this to be a very forgiving clarinet with a strong presence and deep core sound. I imagine it would make for a good clarinet for saxophonists looking to add a clarinet to the repertoire. Solid instrument all around.
