Vintage Wolfe Tayne 6 Metal Mouthpiece for Alto Saxophone

This is a nice vintage Wolfe Tayne mouthpiece for alto sax in a 6 facing. The piece is in very good physical condition. The black bite plate is intact and does not show any serious wear. Its outer body is also in nice shape. The profile of the piece, table, tip and side rails is also in good condition only showing normal amounts of cosmetic play wear. 

 

The inner build on this piece features a fairly standard medium chamber with a notable baffle below the tip. These pieces are nice if you want a little more edge compared to a traditional jazz piece. But, they are by no means an ultra bright player. This one ships with ligature. 

 

The tip opening on this piece measures .083”.
