This is a very lightly played 10MFan “Cabernet” 8* mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. It has a fairly unique look around the outer body. The Cabernet is on the heavy side compared to some of the ultra light 3D printed pieces we have come across. Looking over the profile and baffle area you can see the outstanding and very precise hand finishing that went into the final steps of the Cabernet.
These pieces showcase a Octagon chamber shape at their throat which leads into side wall panels and a subtle floor and baffle shape. The result is a flexible piece for straight ahead jazz with enough power to be used in pop music and high volume situations.
