This is an extremely unique Goldbeck metal mouthpiece for the bari sax. Goldbeck, based out of Chicago, made the first metal mouthpieces here in the USA, though never to the extent of the larger companies that came later. This piece dates to the 1920s and features a large body (for a metal piece) with a huge round chamber, and it is a solid, heavy mouthpiece. It shows mild pitting on the table but no other finish wear of note. The facing is original and in very good shape, with a tip opening of .072”. Very small by today's standards, but that was the norm back when this mouthpiece was in produced. If you are a serious sax collector, snag this one before it's gone. We've found a tenor sax ligature that fits, and will be included.
