Berg 130/0 SMS
This is a used Berg Larsen “Straight Bill” SMS metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone with a 130/0 facing. The straight bill mouthpiece does feature a “Bullet Chamber”.
The outer body of the piece is in very good shape showing some normal signs of past use. Its original black bite plate is intact showing some normal play wear. The profile of the piece regarding the table, tip and side rails is in excellent condition.
This piece has a fairly big tip opening and will take in a tone of air. It plays with a big and punchy sound and plenty of brilliance. A fantastic item if you are looking for a lot of power ala Pete Christlieb.
The tip opening of this mouthpiece measures .125”.
