This is an older David Guardala laser trimmed silver plated “Crescent” for tenor saxophone. Its tip opening measures .108”. This is in the sweet spot between a 7* and 8 in Otto Link measurements. The Crescent is one of the warmer models by Guardala. It is in reference to the sonic character of John Coltrane and his album “Crescent.”
The mouthpiece is in extremely nice condition. It has been played in the past and has some light scratches here and there but it does not show any major wear or past abuse. Pick this one up at a great price.
