Stubbie by Drake for Tenor Sax
This is a nice “Stubbie” 7* metal mouthpiece for tenor sax by Aaron Drake. The mouthpiece has been used in the past but is still in amazing physical condition. There is some light scratches here and there but nothing too serious. The original bite pad does have a couple of indentations from the last user. Its facing profile regarding the table, tip and side rails is excellent. The tip opening of the mouthpiece measures .102”.
The Stubbie by Drake is made in the spirit of the vintage Dukoff Hollywood “Stubbie” models. These pieces are similar to a Super Tone Master but also have a notable robust quality to the way they play. A great piece if you are looking for a crisp response with a more robust quality.
