This is a Florida vintage metal Otto Link Super Tone Master mouthpiece for the alto sax. A “no USA” Link, this piece is stamped an 8* (small font) and measures a hefty .102”. This era of Links is often associated with Sonny Stitt, so you have an idea of what kind of sound to expect. The piece is in outstanding physical condition with no deep playing wear to speak of. The profile across the tip and rails looks superb, and there is virtually no teeth wear on the black bite plate. The piece ships complete with its original ligature, stamped an “A” on the tightening screw.
