Super sweet Keilwerth SX90R tenor sax in gold lacquer, serial number 119193. This tenor is in stellar shape and will get a full overhaul from our shop before shipping. If you've been on the hunt for a good Keilwerth at a great price, this horn will not disappoint.

As you can see in the photos, this tenor looks incredible. There are just a couple tiny dings here and there from honest use, but no big dents or signs of past damage or repair. We'll take those dings out during our work and it will come to its next owner completely dent-free. The rolled tone holes are all in great shape as well, and the original neck has never been pulled down or damaged.

Currently in our repair shop, this tenor is slotted to receive a full pro overhaul. We'll take it apart, clean it inside and out, and replace all pad and material. We'll optimize spring tensions and key heights for intonation and response, and leave it playing as good (or better!) than the day it left the factory.

Most players gravitating towards a Keilwerth know exactly what they are looking for in a sound, and this tenor delivers. It plays with a big, bold sound, without sacrificing warmth or color of tone. Its keywork is more open than most modern horns, hearkening back to the older vintage stuff, and that open feel adds to the experience of a big, open sound exploding out of the horn.
