This is a very nice Keilwerth MKX tenor saxophone in Antique/Vintage finish, serial number 129005. The tenor was played on very carefully by the previous owner. It is in mint condition and can now be purchased at a reasonable price. The MKX tenor saxophone was manufactured with straight tone holes and modern key work to high F#. Players familiar with the SX90 series will feel right at home with this saxophone.

Physically the body of the tenor is about as clean as you are going to find on a “like new” used instrument. There is a few light scratches here and there but nothing too serious of note. The horn has had no previous service work performed and has had zero repairs to the body. Its original neck with the sax is in perfect condition.

These saxophones play with a very quick response to air and powerful character. In direct comparison to an SX90 the MKX is noticeably more focused and less spread. This horn was very well looked after by the last owner who played it on its factory set up and materials. In order to make the horn perfect Saxquest will professionally set up the sax before shipping to ensure it arrives in perfect playing condition. The professional set up will include a dissemble and cleaning followed by a thorough regulation of the key work and replacement of any needed pads and key materials.
