The Buffet Paris Orfeo oboe is made from their Greenline material for the most durability. It combines reliable modern materials with the tradition of handmade craftsmanship. Indeed, Greenline is used to the maximum of its technical capacity. The oboe's entire register creates a sensation of excitement with incomparable low tones, consistency over the whole range, and a wonderfully easy flow. It features a French conservatory system, with an all new tone hole layout and dimensions. Metal lined tenons and sockets add further strength. The instrument does have a semi-automatic 3 octave key system, and silver plated keys.
