The New Keilwerth Saxophones!!

This is the new “Vintage” series SX90R tenor saxophone by Julius Keilwerth. This horn features treated bare brass body with silver keys, traditional pearl key touches, and rounded tone holes. The palm keys can also be adjusted to custom fit the contours of anyone’s hands, small or large. Like other Keilwerth’s the Vintage tenor has an additional mechanism on the G# key which prevents the key from sticking.

Un-like most of the professional horns on today’s market the Keilwerth SX-90 is not an attempt to copy the image or feel of a Selmer Mark VI. The Keilwerth SX-90R plays with a great edge and flexibility that makes it perfect for today’s strait ahead and contemporary saxophonist. The bigger body bow provides a larger free blowing sound and a wider dynamic range. In comparison to the standard SX90 the vintage tends to play a little bit warmer and has a nice free breathing resonance to it. Definitely one of the coolest horns around!
