Available now from Saxquest is the full line of Vandoren mouthpieces. This is the Jumbo Java mouthpiece for alto saxophone. These pieces were designed with a small chamber, high baffle, and big bore, for increased sound impact and an edgy tone, comparable to a metal mouthpiece. Extremely versatile, they are fantastic for hot jazz, blues, funk, and rock.
The mouthpieces available include:
- A35 - tip .081" - medium-long facing - a bright mouthpiece with excellent precision & control
- A45 - tip .087" - medium-long facing - recommended for rock & fusion playing
- A55 - tip .097" - long facing - same as A45, but more open
- A75 - tip .102" - long facing - an open mouthpiece with a large bright sound
