MKX- Beautiful Condition

This is an extremely pristine MKX alto saxophone in “Vintage” finish by Keilwerth, serial number 127007. If you are looking to pick up an clean alto with a great look this one is going to be perfect!

The MKX was manufactured with straight tone holes and modern key work to high F#. This one is in the vintage/antique finish. The finish shows a beautiful raw brass color which is covered by a layer of clear lacquer. The physical body of this alto is in tremendous condition. There has never been any serious dent work or solder repair on the horn. If you look over it very closely you might find a few smaller blemishes but no serious cosmetic wear to note. Includes the neck, also in great shape as well as the contoured carrying case.

The MKX plays with a quick response to air flow and a big robust character. These horns do have a noticeably tighter core focus to the way they play in comparison to the more free blowing SX90 models. This MKX was played on for a time but very well looked after. In order to ensure it is in perfect playing condition for years to come it is currently in line to receive a pro set up in our shop. The set-up will include a fine regulation of the key work as well as replacement of the original factory material.
