RARE! Vintage Otto Link Masterlink NY 4 for Soprano Saxophone, A 83

This is an extremely rare Masterlink NY 4 for soprano sax by Otto Link, serial number A 83. The mouthpiece is physically very clean from tip to bottom. It does not appear to have seen a lot of use over the years and was most likely kept in a case not being used. The black bite plate is in pristine condition with no notable wear. The gold finish is also mostly intact. Its facing profile is also in excellent condition and does not look like it has ever been worked on.
The tip opening of this piece measures .050”. This is around a Selmer D for comparison.
Original ligature and cap are included with the mouthpiece. The ligature could stand some deeper cleaning in the future but is functioning as intended at this time. It should be noted the inner shank size on these pieces were made much smaller to work with the older vintage sopranos. Fitting the mouthpiece on a modern soprano will be much more difficult.
