Hoss Mouthpiece for Sorpano

This is a lightly used Hoss 70 for soprano saxophone by Saxquest, Serial #363. The mouthpiece has been played on around our shop. It is in good shape and has never been extensively used. A nice option if you are looking for a “Berg” vibe with a fairly robust tip opening. These pieces were inspired by the early vintage hard rubber Berg soprano pieces. This piece does show some signs of past use but nothing too terribly major.

Note to the serious gear people. This first series of these pieces were all hand finished by Eric Falcon and were all stamped with a serial number. This one was #363. The Hoss soprano was made with inspiration from our favorite 1950's Berg Larsen “Slant” Duck Bill hard rubber. These early Bergs predate the current Berg baffle number system. But to give the user an idea I would classify these pieces as being most similar to a 2 baffle height. Great projection but not at all overly bright.
