This is a fully restored 1923 vintage Buescher True Tone series alto saxophone, serial number 133560. This alto was custom silver plated with new engraving about 10 years ago. It has been sitting since and needs a fresh adjustment, but once you get the work done it will be a nice little player for you, with looks to kill.

The previous owner put some serious money into this horn to make it look so good. It has all new shiny silver plate throughout, which is just starting to tarnish here and there between the keys. It has not been played since the work, and shows no finish wear at all. It looks much like a brand new instrument. The work also included new engraving in the original style. At the time, the sax was repadded using leather pads while retaining the original snap-in metal resonators, and has new blued needle springs as well. Because it has been sitting, the pads are not sealing well (you really need to squeeze to get a seal, in spots) and the sax needs a fresh regulation, including reseating some pads. We are selling it as-is.
