This is a lightly played Meyer Bros “New York Connoisseur Series” mouthpiece for tenor in an 8 facing. These pieces are a throw back to the vintage pieces of the 1950's. The Connoisseur does showcase a stylish brass ring on the shank.
This particular Meyer does not look like it has seen too terribly much play time and is in pristine physical condition. The facing profile of the table, tip and side rails is also in excellent condition. These pieces are made with a medium large inner chamber leading into slanted side walls and a rolled baffle.
This one has been played a few times but can now be purchased at a great price. Ships with ligature, cap and box.
