Here is a used Pearl PFL-761 flute in silver plate with open holes, a low-C foot joint, and a solid silver PH-6J head joint, serial number #7344. This flute is playing great as it is, so we are offering it in as-is condition to pass the savings onto the buyer.

The PFL-761 is a perfect intermediate option for a developing flute player to step-up to from their beginner flute. The 761 is a current model from Pearl. This one has rolled tone holes, stainless steel springs, an offset-G key, open hole keys, a silver lip plate, and a standard set of chromatic key-work. The key work goes down to low-C, with trill D, D#, and Bb options in the right hand, there's even a split-E mechanism for better high E response. The lip plate has a round aperture that gives a more fluid feel for changing registers with ease. This flute is only a few steps off of a pro horn, it basically just doesn't have a solid silver body nor a low B/Gizmo-key foot joint.

Sonically, this flute has a vibrant tone that outplays most flutes at this price point by a long shot. It's yellow bladder pads are sealing well, and all the regulations are in great adjustment, you can play the full range of the flute with ease.

Physically, this flute is showing only a little tarnish, but no wear on the plating. After a short polish session, you will have a beautiful flute that gives off a gorgeous white sheen. There are no dents anywhere, this flute was taken care of, or just plainly not played very often.

A player looking to step-up from a student model with plateau keys would see a vast improvement in their tone, and performance on this instrument.
