This is a vintage Buescher Aristocrat alto saxophone in gold lacquer, serial number 277732. The alto came into our shop playing nicely with a free blowing response and sweet character. This is an excellent player and is perfect for someone looking to get into a good player at a lower price. The saxophone includes an original vintage Buescher neck with 01 stamp. It also has the majority of gold plated springs as well as most of the original snap resonators. (palm keys have been changed out with standard metal dome)

Looking over the saxophone it has a clean look around most of the horn and shows off clear engraving. The alto does have a couple of past solder repairs as well as a few smaller dings along the body and a few on small spots on the neck. It looks like the past owner of this sax put a decent amount of play time on it over the years while keeping it regularly serviced at their local shop. At this time the horn is sealing up nicely and playing with a colorful free blowing response. We would generally prefer more open key heights but as the horn is playing nicely we are selling it in as is condition at a lower price.

This saxophone ships in as is condition with an old wood hard case.
