Blue Jumbo Java T95
This is a very nice vintage Vandoren T95 Blue Jumbo Java mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The mouthpiece shows it has seen a decent amount of past play time. It is physically still in very solid condition from top to bottom. You can still clearly see the slanted signature and “Jumbo” etched on the side of the piece. The table, tip and side rails are in good condition.
These pieces were made with a wide open throat and a medium chamber with slanted side walls leading into a very high floor with a long baffle slope. The are a great way to go if you are looking for a lot of projection and power. These pieces are very similar to the Jumbo Java Vandoren is making today. However, this piece is blue.
The tip opening on this mouthpiece measures .118”.
