Bundy Low Bb Baritone – Made by Keilwerth

This is a vintage Bundy H&A Selmer low Bb baritone saxophone in gold lacquer, serial number 34829. These instruments were made by Keilwerth. They are not talked about quite as much as some other horns but are a great choice for the pros looking for something good on a budget. This one was most likely used in the past by a school or institution and is currently in need of a restoration. At this time we have a number of great vintage items needing repair. Due to the line in our repair shop we are letting a lot of these great items go for low prices in as is condition.

The pictures of the bari tell its story the best. It has been around the block more than once and shows the history of past repairs as well as a healthy amount of dings and dents that still need to be taken care of. It does include all of key work, pearls and rollers. It is missing the rear clothes guard and one of the felt holders on the low C key guard.

These can be great baris and are known to be powerful and versatile players. This one is going to need a pretty thorough restoration with 10-15 hours of dent work on top of the regular overhaul. (At this time it is not playing.) If you know a good skilled tech this horn can be made to play once more.
