This is a vintage Conn USA alto – made by Leblanc in gold lacquer finish, serial number 4921. These old Leblanc made saxophones are a classic! This one is not the prettiest but is physically in sound condition and will make great sax for anyone looking to pick up a quality horn at a lower price point. The body does not show any history of major past repair. There is a few smaller dings around the bottom part of the body but no signs the alto has ever seen major trauma. This saxophone is with all of the original key work as well as the original necks.

These saxophones have comfortable key work to high F with left side bell keys. This one appears to have been re-padded in another shop and then most likely sat in the case being unused for a long period of time. While the most of the pads do not look like they have seen a lot of play time this sax does not play all that well at this time. If you are going to be putting a lot of play time on this saxophone it is going to at least need some pads and set up work first. Depending on how picky you or your repair tech an overhaul is more ideal.

At this time our shop is very backed up so we are selling this one in as is condition at a much lower price point.

The alto ships out in as is condition with a hard plastic Conn case.
