Otto Link – Professionally Re-Faced .115
This is a Florida USA vintage Super Tone Master metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The piece was originally stamped a 5* but was later professionally refaced to .115” by Sebastian Knox. An 8* in modern Otto Link measurements.
The body of the piece is in solid condition with most of the original gold plating intact. Its black bite plate is also in decent condition showing one small indentation from past teeth placement.
This is an excellent playing mouthpiece. It keeps a very tight and focused response to air flow and produces an sound fairly intense in character. The facing profile of the piece is in very good condition regarding the table, tip and side rails.
