HELP, I Want One!

The Martin Tenor Saxophone
This is a vintage Martin Committee III “The Martin” tenor saxophone in original lacquer finish, serial number 206506. These Martin tenors are classic work horse instruments. They are known for their quick free blowing response and crystal clear projection.

This particular tenor is in solid physical condition showing original lacquer with healthy amount of play wear. The body tube, bow and bell are all in good shape. Its bow cap is still in perfect condition and was never pushed. There was a few small re-solders done to the feet of a few of the lower key guards. The original neck with this saxophone is included. It does have a matching serial number stamp. The neck shares similar cosmetic character to the rest of the saxophone but shows no signs it was ever pulled down in the past.

The Martin came into our shop playing nicely on its current set of leather pads and brown plastic resonators. It is due for a good cleaning and set-up. As such it is currently awaiting its turn for TLC in our shop. The work will include dissemble, cleaning and fresh key regulation while replacing all needed key materials.

Ships in perfect playing condition in the original Martin hard case.
