Otto Link New York – Tone Master
This is a vintage Otto Link Tone Master #5 for tenor saxophone, serial number U34. These Tone Masters were made with wide open throat, rounded inner side walls and no baffle. A classic dark playing metal mouthpiece. This one is in good shape around the outer body showing normal wear for its vintage. The bite plate is intact and does not have any major indentations from previous playing.
With the right reed the piece plays with a dark sound, not a loud sound. The current tip opening measures small at only .071.”
