Selmer Soloist D

This is a nice Selmer Paris Soloist D long shank mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The tip opening on the piece measures .080”. The body of the mouthpiece is in very nice condition regarding the beak, shank and outer body. Selmer signature on the back of the body is very clear and well defined. Its profile of the table, tip and side rails is also in good shape.

These Soloist pieces showcase a horse shoe shaped throat opening with a medium chamber, slanted side walls and no baffle. They play with a very direct response and a fairly dark character.
