Beautiful Intermediate Flute Under $2k!

This is a Yamaha YFL-382 open hole flute in silver plate, serial number #S91330. This flute has been playtested at the shop but never owned, so we are going to sell it at a discount. If you're a doubling musician who works in pit-orchestras or big bands, this deal is an amazing opportunity to acquire a quality playing instrument to step up your sound from a student instrument.

The YFL-382 has one distinct difference from the 362, it has an 'in-line' G key, everything else is the same. The toneholes are drawn and rolled, the keywork is open holed down to a low-B foot joint with a gizmo-key, standard trill C and D keys in the right hand, the head joint is solid silver with a silver lip plate, and all key action is driven by stainless-steel needle-springs.

The lip plate has a semi-squared semi-rounded shape to it, it locks in to each register easily, intonation is centered, which is great news for anyone doubling in a pit-orchestra. When faced with playing secondary instruments you will want to be certain that your instrument is rock solid, as you need all the help you can get from your gear.

Of course practice makes perfect but having a quality instrument to start will improve the situation, for under $2,000.00 at that! We will give this flute a look over before it leaves the shop and include with it a 1-year mechanical repair warranty guarantee, this will cover any normal wear and tear on the pads, felts, corks, and key adjustments.
