In 1972 Frank Zappa released a fusion album entitled “The Grand Wazoo”. The track “Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus” featured a somewhat brief but very spirited solo by a now legendary road warrior of the saxophone. Zappa is just one of the many artists this saxophonist has recorded with over the years. He has played in virtually every musical genre along side the likes of Cannonball Adderley and the Rolling Stones. In the time of his carrier this saxophonist has appeared on no fewer then 500 recordings.
Who was the saxophonist, and what instrument does he use on the “Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus”
Erine Watts C-Melody Saxophone on “Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus” by Frank Zappa
