The Selmer Bundy II was, for decades, the standard go-to instrument for beginning saxophonists. This example, serial number 899249, shows a moderate amount of finish (lacquer) wear, but remains in outstanding physical condition, and will ship with a fresh pad job, ready to play for a long time to come.
The pictures make the horn look pretty worn, but it is all cosmetic wear. No dents, no broken keys or past repairs, everything is solid. The original neck has never been pulled down. This sax came to us on old pads, and as such, it will get a thorough cleaning and pad job before shipping. We'll replace all pads and material and adjust springs and the action throughout, so you get it in perfect adjustment. If you have a wanna-be saxophone player at home who is itching to get started, or even if you just want a back-up alto for marching band or “bad weather” gigs, this horn will get the job done. Ships in its original case.
