Fred Lebayle Metal LR 9 for Tenor Saxophone .110 – Lightly Played

This is a beautiful and lightly played LR (large chamber) by Fred Lebayle in a 9 facing. The tip opening measures .110”.

 

The piece does not look like it has seen very much use in the past. Its outer body, beak and facing profile are all in amazing condition. The LR features a wide open throat leading into a bullet chamber followed by a long rolled baffle. This piece produces a lush darker color while also providing clear projection. A nice option if you are looking a modern piece with a warm sound.
