Out-Of-Box DISCOUNT Selmer Paris Soloist C** For Alto Sax

Here we have a like-new Selmer Paris Soloist C** in hard rubber for alto saxophone, tip opening measures .065-inch/1.42mm. This mouthpiece is in near-perfect condition and has never been owned, so it is showing virtually no wear.

 

The modern production run of Selmer's Soloist model harkens back to the 1960s and 70s era when this was 'The' standard mouthpiece that came with every Mark VI. Internally, it features flat side-walls and a slightly rolled-tip baffle, a distinctive feature of these is their 'horse-shoe' shaped chamber and decorative scroll shank.

 

This mouthpiece has one blemish on the beak, a small vertical scratch and some light texturing on the table which are topographical and not affecting playability. Aside from these the entire piece shimmers in a beautiful black sheen showing no oxidation. The side-rails, rail-tips are perfect.
