This is vintage hard rubber Selmer Paris Soloist series mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This piece dates to the 1960s, after the “short shank” model, but keeps the same scroll pattern on the shank and horseshoe shaped chamber. The Soloist name and facing C* are stamped on the table. The piece could use a good cleaning but it is in very good physical condition. There’s mild playing wear around the body and beak, but no deep scratches, nicks, or major wear. Tip and rails are original, with tip measuring .072”. Comes with an old 2 screw ligature, which shows little original finish left.
