Theo Wanne Ambika 2 #8 Metal Mouthpiece for Tenor Saxophone – With Ligature and Box

This is a very nice second series Theo Wanne Ambika 8 gold plated mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The mouthpiece is in beautiful condition. Its facing profile does show traces of past use but nothing too serious. Includes original ligature, reed slide, zip case and box. 

 

The Ambika is one of the darker playing mouthpieces in the Wanne mouthpiece line. This is the second rendition of the Ambika model. This particular piece has a very clear response and great projection while maintaining a warm color.  The inside of the mouthpiece showcases the “True Large Chamber” with a wide open throat and rounded inner side walls. Ideal for the player looking for a darker sound akin to the vintage New York Otto Link pieces.

 

The tip opening on this piece measures .110”.
