Used GetaSax 'Supersonic' 8 Mouthpiece for Tenor Saxophone – Lightly Played

This is a Getasax “Supersonic” 8 for tenor saxophone. The piece has been used in the past but is still in very good condition. It shows no history of major past play time. The Supersonic by GS is based off of the vintage Zimberhoff House of Note mouthpieces. 

 

This piece takes the air in quick and is a very smooth in response. It does features a brighter sonic character in comparison to many straight ahead jazz tenor pieces.  But it is by no means on the level of an ultra high baffle piece. The Supersonic is the brightest of the 3 tenor sax mouthpieces currently being made by GS. 

 

The tip opening of this 8 measures .110”.
