Very Pretty! Selmer Paris Super Action 80 SII Alto Saxophone in Gold Lacquer, Serial #670032 Selmer SII

This is a very pretty Selmer Paris Super Action 80 SII Alto Sax in gold lacquer. Serial #670032. The sax shows off a clean gold lacquer finish across its entire body and neck with some normal signs of play wear. These Selmer SII altos have long been a go to choice for some of the worlds finest professional players. They are highly desired items for their amazing build and amazing sonic qualities. This one has been actively played by the  owner while they also kept it well maintained. 

 

The body of the saxophone shows some standard play wear in the forum of scratches and general use. There is no history of the sax ever receiving major repair. It has never seen any solder repairs or major dent work. The body tube, bow and bow cap are all in amazing original condition as is the original neck. 

 

At this time the SII is due for some general service. As such it is currently in our shop in line to receive a professional set up. The work will include a dissemble, cleaning and key fitting before being thoughtfully regulated and set up. While the horn is apart we will also replace all the key materials and any pads that are not up to our standards.
