Vigilante Detroit Rock 8* Metal Mouthpiece for Tenor Sax .114-inch/2.89mm

This is a Vigilante 'Detroit Rock' metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone, tip opening measures at a solid 8* facing of 0.114-inch/2.89mm. This piece plays bright and loud while taking your air efficiently, the baffle has a high floor, similar to a Theo Wanne Shiva or David Guardala 'Super King'. Even though the tip is quite open, it plays with ease from top to bottom with a lovely response, the high baffle compliments the core of the sound nicely without feeling thin.

 

Physically this piece is in good, used condition. The pink bite plate has been protected by a tooth cushion, there's a few light ligature scratches on the exterior. The table is nice and flat, the side rails and rail-tip are looking good as well, no divots. The shank reads from top to bottom 'Vigilante, DRV, BOP, D,OT,2'.
