This is a sweet Buescher True Tone tenor saxophone in original silver plate finish, serial number 234395.This tenor is considered to be a late vintage True Tone. It showcases key work from low Bb to high front F as well as a G# roller.  The horn is in immaculate physical condition showing some normal play wear. Its body tube, bow, bow cap and bell flare are all in excellent condition. The only area of important note is the bell to body brace is un- soldered on the body tube side of the instrument.

These saxophones are know for being very “sweet” players. This one in particular is not exception but it should also be noted that it has a very robust and free blowing quality. It takes the air in fast and easy and features a big sound.

This True Tone was professionally overhauled for one of our customers close to 20 years ago. It was played on just a little bit for a time but has spent most of its days in its gig bag. At the moment it is still playing like an absolute dream on its current pads and original snap resonators. Due to the age of the pads this horn is going to need an overhaul not too far down the road if you are planning on putting a lot of serious time on it. As our shop is very backed up at the moment we are selling this one in as is condition at a lower price.

Ships in as is condition in a Leblanc gig bag.
