Vintage Italian Majestic Alto Saxophone in Gold Lacquer, Serial #5393 - Repair Special

This is an older Italian made saxophone called the Majestic, serial number 5393. It is most likely a stencil saxophone by Grassi. All of the key work is present and the saxophone does have a clean look to its current finish. 

 

The saxophone came into our shop on a decent set of leather pads and nylon resonators. It does look like the pads have quite a bit of life left in them. Unfortunately the body tube is slightly bent and there is a few area on the body which would need to be sorted out along with a good set-up before it would be ready for any playing. The body tube has been pushed in near the right hand thumb rest as well as the area near the marching lyre.  

 

All done up this could be a nice saxophone for the progressing student or an adequate back up for the established player. We would love to this saxophone up right but at this time our shop is absolutely swamped. Because of this we are offering this saxophone in as is condition at a premium low price. It ships with a good wood hard case.
