Vintage Original Lacquer Buescher Aristocrat Tenor Saxophone, Serial #278431

This is a fantastic Buescher Aristocrat tenor saxophone in original lacquer finish, serial number 278431. If you are looking for a sweet playing Aristocrat with clean original lacquer this one is going to be hard to beat. The tenor came into our shop playing up a storm on a set of premium leather pads as well as all of the original Buescher snap resonators and Norton gold plated springs. 

 

The body of the tenor is in nice shape showing off its original lacquer finish and crisp engraving. There is some history of past repair to the lower body where a few of the guard feet have been re-soldered along with some dent work on the bow. The bow cap itself is in good shape and is not pushed in. Its bell and bell flare are both in excellent condition. This sax also includes the original neck and all of the original key work including trill G# and the amber rollers. The neck is currently in solid physical condition showing some finish wear and a few very small dings. 

 

This tenor was last overhauled a several years in our shop. The tech used a set of Valentino pro pads on the original snap resonators. The saxophone has received very little play time since it was last serviced. The horn is still playing great and the pads are all in excellent condition. Because it is currently playing great and in order to sell it at a lower price we will not be doing additional service work to it in our shop. But we will give it a good play test before shipping. 

 

The Buescher Aristocrat is a classic American vintage sax with a sweet sonic character. Ships in as is condition in a pristine protec contoured case.
