Vintage Otto Link Florida No USA 10* Super Tone Master for Tenor Saxophone

This is a very sweet Florida vintage Otto Link Super Tone Master 10* for tenor saxophone. The mouthpiece includes the original cap and T stamp ligature as well as the original 10* box, Pompano Beach Florida. 

 

This link has a very smooth response to air. The tip opening is on the robust side, measuring .118”. With a medium soft reed I found it to be easy and free blowing with warm sonic character and clear projection. 

 

Like any good Link this one has been played on quite a bit in the past. The finish is completely gone around the profile and table, as well as the beak and front half of the body. Its original black bite plate is intact but it does have a wear spot in one corner.  Its profile is in very good condition but you can see a wear spot on one side above the tip rail. With most of the finish off of the table and facing profile it is highly likely this piece was worked on at some point in its life.

 

This piece has been play tested in our shop and is quite a nice player. Ships with ligature, cap and box shown in pictures.
