Product ID: SelmerScrollDTenor815
This is a 1970s vintage Selmer Paris hard rubber mouthpiece for the tenor sax. A post-Soloist mouthpiece, it shows the same scroll pattern on the shank and same horseshoe-shaped chamber as those famous mouthpieces. The piece is stamped a D and has been refaced at some point in its in life, with work done on the tip and rails, and measures slightly more open than a traditional D at .084”. Physically, the mouthpiece is in solid shape, with mostly just light surface wear from normal use. No cracks or chips, no deep grooves or serious playing wear.
